Cookie Policy
Last updated October 15, 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the OREUM website. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
On this page
The short version
- We do not use any cookies of our own, and no third-party cookies are placed on our pages today.
- We use no analytics, no advertising or tracking cookies, no tracking pixels and no session recording.
- Your browser's local storage keeps one thing on your device: your cart. That is all the website needs to work.
- Our fonts are served from our own website. Your browser does not contact any outside font service.
- Once online payment is connected, our payment provider, Stripe, may use strictly necessary cookies on the payment step, to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.
Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files that a website keeps in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a website remember information on your device. Unlike cookies, what we keep in local storage is not sent to our servers with each page request.
What we store in your browser
| Item | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Cart (local storage, name starting with oreum_cart_v1) | Remembers the products and quantities in your cart as you move from page to page. It holds no name, email, address or payment details. It is strictly necessary for the cart you use. | Until you empty your cart or clear this site's data in your browser |
Your cart stays on your device. It is never used for advertising or analytics. Until online payment opens, it is never sent to us. Once payment opens, your cart contents are used only to prepare your order when you go to checkout.
Our hosting provider
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. in the United States. Like any web server, Vercel's servers automatically receive and log technical information when your browser requests a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. We use these logs only to run, secure and fix the website. In rare cases, such as during an attack on the site, Vercel may place a short-lived, strictly necessary security cookie to check that visitors are real people. It is not used for advertising or analytics. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Payments
Online payment is not open yet. Our payment provider will be Stripe. Once payment is connected, the payment step may use strictly necessary cookies placed by Stripe, such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid, to process your payment securely and to detect and prevent fraud. They are not used for advertising. See Stripe's cookie policy.
What we do not use
- No analytics or audience measurement tools.
- No advertising, retargeting or social media pixels.
- No session recording or heatmaps.
- No browser fingerprinting.
- No scripts from other companies.
How to clear it
- You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser's privacy options, usually under Privacy, then Site data or Website data. Clearing this site's data empties your cart.
- In a private or incognito window, your cart is forgotten when you close the window.
- If you block local storage for this site, you can still browse, but your cart will not be remembered.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because we do not track you across websites, our website works the same whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal. See our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
If we ever want to add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first. Before any such tool is switched on, we will add a way for you to accept or refuse it, and an opt-out link wherever US state law requires one.
